Back in Minnesota

Birds!

I was walking down the hall in the hospital yesterday and I heard an absolute cacaphony of birds chirping! So I came to a window out onto one of the many courtyards that the hospital is built around. It was open and the trees were chocked full of little chickadee-like birds! There were hundreds of them, all singing away! I wish that I had my camera with me.
It is late autmn here (think November), and the rhododendrons, gardenias, roses are budding and blooming. The groundskeepers are planting new plants in the flower beds around the hospital. Yes it is wonderful living in a place where we have flowers all year round.

Hey New Zealand, I'm back!

I am back, and with a new much better camera. I've started taking pictures of everyday life, and I will be posting them one of these days. Beautiful sunny autumn day today here...

I'm headed back to New Zealand!

I can hardly wait to step back on NZ soil! I will be working there again for 6 wks, and then back to MN to resume work at Park Nicollet Clinics in Maple Grove as of June 14. I have rented a townhome in Plymouth MN. It is ideal for me, since I need to be close to my Mom at this time.
